In July 1999 we went on a two-week coach trip around Iceland. I've scanned in the negatives and sorted out a selection of pictures.
Our route around Iceland.
Our first night was at Thingvellir (Þingvellir) - where the Iceland parliament was established in 930 AD.
Thingvellir is on the crest of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where two tectonic plates are pulling apart.
