In September 1997 we went to the west side of Canada. We started in Calgary, then did a coach trip to Banff. We then had another coach trip from Banff to Jasper - the "Icefields Parkway" - which included going on to Athabasca glacier.
At Jasper we took the Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver, stopping overnight at Kamloops. From Vancouver we took the ferry to Vancouver Island, staying at Nanaimo, then drove to Port Hardy. We then came back to Nanaimo, then stayed at Victoria, and finally got the ferry back to Vancouver to fly home.
